1994-1996
The company began manufacturing spas under the name of Signature Spas Pty Ltd, which was also the name of the only brand being marketed by the company at that time.
1997-2002
The Cyclone Spas brand was introduced to fulfill a niche in the market place.
To enable the two brands Signature Spas and Cyclone Spas to be marketed successfully a new business was formed to define the manufacturing side of the business, and SCS Industries Pty Ltd was introduced, which literally stands for Signature Cyclone Spas. To the outside world, the company was still formally known as Signature Spas.
2003-2009
The company officially changed its name to SCS Industries and signed an exclusive agreement with Bullfrog Spas for the manufacture and distribution of the patented JetPakTM Bullfrog technology in Australasia, and Bullfrog Spas (Australasia) was introduced. This was closely followed by the introduction of the Designer range of Spas and then the Infinity range of Swim spas giving SCS Industries five brands to market.
2009
It was decided that to give the company a more prominent identity in the market place, the name should be changed to Spa Industries. This new identity clearly makes a statement about who we are and what we do.
